I had a bad experience -- actually was
"conned" by a Lonnie Creekmore and
his ex-brother-in-law, Charles Whalen.
Below is the complaint I sent to the
BBB for your information. I really want
to do whatever I can to keep these
people from conning someone else like they did
me.

Complaint:
Creekmore & Whalen were to repair my roof. I checked their license, which
was good at the time but must have expired, as they obtained another license
#427529 on April 15, 2003. They worked off and on - 20 minutes to 1/2 hour at
a time during late April and May. I paid up front for the materials (not smart
on my part). They did a terrible and unacceptable job - getting poor material,
skimping, not producing promised receipts for purchased material as requested,
and literally just "slapping the roof together." Aurora Roofing
(Gene Burke) had to re-do the entire roof. I have been calling Creekmore every
other day, or so, since the last part of May to give me back at least #3,000
of my money. He keeps saying he will do it, but never does. Creekmore has
scammed/conned others too, but I didn't find this out until later. I've paid
double for my roof, which I can't really afford on a fixed income. I would
like to get my money back, but it's doubtful. I WANT TO PREVENT OTHERS FROM
USING THE SERVICES OF THIS CON MAN IN ANYWAY POSSIBLE.
